Kim Vasquez directs the first-time female lead in Fully Committed starring Amy Stiller.
Written by Becky Mode for Mark Setlock, who originated the role Off-Broadway in 1999, the play follows a stressed aspiring actor-reservations clerk at one of New York City's upscale restaurants on the Upper East Side. The actor playing the lead — which has hitherto has been played by a male — then takes 40 other characters including patrons which range from mobsters to supermodels.
Others who have tackled the many roles in Fully Committed include Tony Award winner Roger Bart (You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Producers), Christopher Fitzgerald, Brian Beacock and Bronson Pinchot. |
